
Hi, I’m Nic - Founder of Thrive with Nic ® . I’m a wife and mum of two kids and I know exactly what it feels like to be stuck in a rut with your health. Back in 2020, my own struggles with energy, hormones, and balance sparked my passion for nutrition and wellbeing.
I realised so many women spend years just surviving - juggling work, family, and life while feeling frustrated as their bodies fail to co-operate due to hormone and energy fluctuations.
That’s why I created Thrive with Nic ® - because I believe we deserve more than just “getting by.”
My mission is simple: to give women the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive - not just for a few weeks, but for life.
Like many women, my health story hasn’t been a straight line. My weight has gone up and down over the years, but lockdown hit me hard - long hours, home-schooling, no self-care, and a diet that left me feeling sluggish and unhealthy. I gained 12 kilos, my skin flared with rosacea, and I felt completely out of control.
But bit by bit, I turned things around. No quick fixes, no punishing regimes - just learning how to fuel my body better, move in ways I enjoyed, and be kinder to myself. Small, consistent lifestyle changes led to steady weight loss. I started working out twice a week which led to four or five times. Now, at 45, I can honestly say I’m the healthiest and strongest I’ve ever been.
It wasn’t a crash diet. It wasn't a quick fix. It was a slow, steady transformation - and that’s what's made it stick.

Thrive with Nic ® was created from the belief that women need more than another diet plan. We need support, empathy, education, and practical tools to make lasting changes - to truly thrive, not just chase a number on the scales.
My passion grew during my own peri-menopause journey, as I experienced symptoms first hand and saw how many women were left struggling with confusing, conflicting advice. Determined to find the facts, I became a Certified Nutrition Coach with Precision Nutrition and trained in women's health and menopause through the Dr Stacy Sims’ Menopause 2.0 course.
Through both lived experience and study, I’ve learned that real nutrition coaching isn’t about offering quick fixes, restrictive diets or aiming for perfection. It’s about understanding your body, making practical changes that fit your life, and building the confidence to sustain them long term.

Empathy is at the core of what I do - it anchors the way I listen, coach and support you through our partnership. No judgement, just empathy and support.

My goal is to help women build the mindset, habits and skills they need to finally break free of a lifetime of dieting - and sustain progress independently for life.
